New York

Last weekend, I went on a boat trip to see the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island. The boat trip was very enjoyable specially because it wasn’t very crowded and I didn’t get sea sick as I usually do.

When we got to the island we had a beautiful view of the city with a glamorous orange light entering the buildings, since it was around 7 pm and the sun was setting. Behind us was the gracious blue statue, and we all looked in amazement for a while. As we observed the island and its main attractions, the nice tourist guide explained how and why the Statue of Liberty was built.

As the minutes went by, the sun disappeared and we were left with an astonishing moment as the sky was “filled” with all types of shades of blue, orange and pink. But it wasn’t all amazing because the weather started getting a little chilly and I didn’t bring a coat! Fortunately, a kind sir lent me his jacket and I was able to enjoy the rest of the boat trip. Everyone on the boat was really friendly except a lady who kept being rude to the staff.

When we got to land, I was still enchanted by all the things I had seen, learned and experienced. To end the day in bliss, we went to a fancy restaurant and the food was delicious!

 It was lovely!

New York !

Last weekend, I flew to New York to visit the city and the Statue of Liberty with my parents. The trip was so long and extremely boring!

After having the longest trip of my life we finally got to New York. It was a beautiful sunny day, but also a little stuffy, so after walking for some minutes through the city I was already tired.

I was amazed by this charming place (city), with so much technology and bright lights. The food was very tasty and everyone was so friendly!

After a few hours visiting New York, my parents and I went to catch the boat so we could finally see the Statue of Liberty. The trip was amazing,  quick, and had a gorgeous view, although I felt a little sick. The Statue was majestic, I was radiant by its beauty.

We had the opportunity to visit the top of the Statue and the view left me speechless, so many lights reflecting in the water, the tall buildings, the tiny people walking around, everything was perfect, especially because it was at night.

The only bad thing about this memorable trip was that it was over. I can’t point out a negative aspect of this weekend. In conclusion, a lovely trip to repeat for sure!
