My best friend’s name is Catarina, she’s 14 years old and lives in Lagos. I met her on the 11th of February of 2010, and we've been best friends ever since. She's been there for all the ups and downs of my life, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.
She
is very noticeable in a crowd, mainly because of her honey-colored curls and
her tanned skin, in the summer. She is
blue and green-eyed and has the most beautiful and genuine smile I've ever
seen. She is not tall by any means but
is a little bit above the average height for her age. She is plump in “ all of
the right places” like she usually says, and loves to dress in a very Barbie
style.
Her outgoing and light-hearted personality is
definitely the reason why she has so many friends. She is very sweet and is
always trying to help her peers. Her confidence is outstanding and the way she
carries herself makes her influence touchable in a room. She loves gymnastics
and practices twice a week at our local Club.
She is a clarinet player, just like me, and loves music. Her love for
sports and the outdoors, as well as her love for adventure, led her to join the
scouts 9 years ago and it is definitely the highlight of her week.
Overall, she is my best friend because of her
amazing generosity and sincerity. Her ability to speak her mind amazes me and I
would love to be like her when I grow up. And even though we may argue
sometimes, I will always love her. And maybe I might be biased but I think that
everyone deserves a friend as caring and sensitive as her. After all, I loved
her first because she is my sister but I love her more because she is my best
friend.
