  1. Os investidores deles colocaram bilhões de dólares na Colossal e eles vão conseguir comercializar cada patente que sair dessa empresa. Pode não ser impressionante em termos de animais pré-históricos, mas o fato é que a Colossal agora consegue praticamente sintetizar um ser vivo, alterando qualquer gene que eles quiserem.

  2. A Colossal precisava mostrar progresso para o público e para potenciais investidores. Mesmo que a história do lobo gigante seja meio forçada, isso é o equivalente ao Super Nintendo da desextinção genética.
